If you are getting the
SQL1092N “USER” does not have the authority to perform the requested
error then you are most probably using Windows.
Here is how to solve it:
1. Add you user to the DB2IADM group( if you are on windows add user to DB2ADMNS and DB2USERS groups).
2. db2 update dbm cfg using CATALOG_NOAUTH YES
3. db2 update dbm cfg using SYSADM_GROUP DB2ADMNS
If you are using Windows and trying to access DB2 with your domain user, then use this solution:
Win + RUN : services.msc
Right Click DB2 – DB2COPY1 DB2-0
On Log On Tab, choose Local System account. OK.
Use db2admin user to run db2cmd (username is yourhostname\db2admin)
Run this command : db2 update dbm cfg using CATALOG_NOAUTH YES
Run this command : db2 update dbm cfg using SYSADM_GROUP DB2ADMNS
Goto services, stop and start DB2 – DB2COPY1 DB2-0
Run db2cmd directly, NOT with db2admin
